Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Redlined mobile application (“Redlined” or the “App”).

By downloading, accessing, or using Redlined, you agree to these Terms.

About Redlined

Redlined is an audio-recording application designed to help DJs and other users record, manage, and export audio recordings.

Redlined is provided by Jordan Jimenez as a recording tool. You are responsible for how you use the App and for the content you choose to record, store, export, or share.

Your Recordings

You retain any rights you have in recordings you create using Redlined. Redlined does not claim ownership of your recordings.

Music and Copyright

Redlined does not grant you any rights to music, performances, recordings, broadcasts, or other third-party content that may be captured using the App.

You are responsible for ensuring that your recording, reproduction, distribution, publication, performance, or sharing of content complies with applicable law and that you have any rights or permissions required from performers, rights holders, venues, or other affected people for your intended use. Rules can differ by place and use; check the requirements that apply before recording or sharing a mix.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Redlined to:

• violate applicable laws or regulations;
• intentionally infringe intellectual property rights;
• violate another person’s privacy rights;
• interfere with the operation or security of the App; or
• circumvent restrictions built into the App.

App Store and Purchases

Redlined is distributed through Apple’s App Store and may offer optional paid features. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s applicable payment terms and policies. See Purchase Terms for the free recording limit, Unlimited unlock, restoring purchases, and refunds.

License to Use Redlined

Redlined is licensed, not sold. The license for the App is governed by Apple’s Standard EULA unless a different license is presented with the App Store listing. These Terms describe permitted use of Redlined and apply in addition to that license to the extent they do not conflict with it or with mandatory consumer rights.

Redlined Intellectual Property

The Redlined name, software, interface, visual design, branding, graphics, logos, and related materials are owned by Redlined or its developer except where otherwise indicated.

Recording Reliability

Although Redlined is designed to provide reliable audio recording, electronic devices and software can fail.

You are responsible for confirming that a recording has started, monitoring your recording when appropriate, maintaining sufficient device storage and power, and verifying important recordings.

We recommend verifying your setup before relying on Redlined for an important live performance or event. Keep separate copies of recordings you cannot afford to lose. Redlined does not provide cloud backup or guarantee recovery of deleted, damaged, or inaccessible files.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Redlined is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that the App will always operate without interruption, errors, data loss, incompatibilities, or other technical problems.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Redlined and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use Redlined.

This includes, where permitted by law, loss of recordings, lost profits, lost performance opportunities, loss of data, or damages resulting from third-party services or equipment.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Redlined evolves. If we make changes, we will update the effective date shown above.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

Purchase Terms

Free Recording

Free users can make any number of recordings, each up to 30 minutes. At the limit, Redlined stops capture and saves the audio to the Library. Playback, metadata editing, and export do not require Unlimited.

Redlined Unlimited

Redlined Unlimited is an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that removes the free-tier recording-duration cap. It is not a subscription and has no recurring charge. The App displays the price supplied by the App Store for your storefront; Apple’s confirmation sheet shows the purchase before you authorize it.

Unlimited does not provide unlimited storage or override power, hardware, operating-system, audio-interruption, or file-format limits. WAV recordings still have a file-size safety limit. Purchasing does not extend audio from a recording that already stopped.

Restoring and Purchase Status

Use Restore Purchases in Settings or on the upgrade sheet with the App Store account used to purchase. Eligible verified purchases can be restored after reinstalling or on another supported iPhone. Pending or unverified transactions do not unlock Unlimited. A refunded or revoked purchase removes the unlock; saved recordings are not deleted or locked.

Payments and Refunds

Apple processes payment under the Apple Media Services Terms. The price shown in the App Store purchase sheet is the price for your storefront; taxes or other amounts may apply as shown by Apple. Refund eligibility is determined under Apple’s policies and applicable law. See Apple’s refund instructions. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

The App Store license is governed by Apple’s Standard EULA unless a custom EULA is provided in the App Store. See also Redlined’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Support.
